- We had so much fun while filming with Kristofer. I think you’ll like what he’s doing this season, says Kit Harington to NTB. 

He plays Jon Snow, one of the central characters in the series. Harington had never heard of Hivju before he got cast in Game of Thrones.

- He was so much fun to work with. Now I hope that I can keep in contact with him. He will be really good.

- He came in with this huge beard of his. He looked incredible, with bronze armbands and things. Nothing had to be done with him. He was perfect as he was, says Rose Leslie.

In his first scene, Hivju had to eat a whole chicken. He did that in a real viking manner says Harington.

- He let it running down the corners of his mouth, laughs Harington.

- I thought: “That’s great, a good choice!” But then when we went to lunch with him later we just saw that this is how he usually eats!
